In 1965, Shri Sita Ram started a small
rice business. Shri Devi Chand Goel further carried this business to
new heights of success. Years of continuous commitment towards
providing quality service to the clients has resulted in the
establishment of the above mentioned two giants of the rice industry.

The above mentioned two giant entities
of rice industry are headed over by Shri Vinod Goel, the Managing
Director of the company, who have an experience of 20 years in rice
trade. Besides Mr. Vinod Goel, his younger brothers, Mr. Vijay Goel
and Mr. Krishan Goel, personally look after and manage the operations
of the two sister concerns. All the three Directors of the companies
are well educated and have very rich experience in manufacturing,
exporting, and domestic marketing of rice.
Last year, that is in year 2008-09,
Goel Group has touched the new heights of success and has achieved an
annual turnover of Rs. 2220 Million. This year our
group has targeted to achieve the turnover of about Rs. 2800 Million.
Best quality is our motto, and thus, we
have set our armory with sufficient facilities. Our group has its own
state-of-the-art rice milling and processing unit installed with the
latest rice machinery. Our commitment to quality has promoted us to
install highly sophisticated equipments. We have installed a fully
automatic and highly sophisticated rice plant of Satake Japan and
Buhler England at our facility. Apart from this, the company is also
manned by highly qualified professionals. Our team comprises of
personnels having expertise in marketing, export, accounting and in
the banking field. Both the sister concerns have full fledged R & D
facility, where latest machines and equipments are made available to
the finest brains in food technology to come up with world class
products. The R & D of a firm is the major part of the company
expenditure with 1% of the total turnover being spent on this.

India. Besides manufacturing and exporting finest quality rice, the

the corners of the globe and satisfy millions of tastebuds. Besides
the traditional basmati rice, the company is also processing and
marketing Indian long grain parboiled rice in bulk quantities. The

domestic markets. Our flagship brand Galaxy has captured lion’s
share in Indian domestic market. Now, the company is marketing its
brands like Galaxy, Shabnam, Har-Pal in Dubai and Iran.
The two sister concern's has also been

sales, which is acknowledged by the Govt. of India in the form of
distinction of two star export house for its relentless pursuit of
quality and perfection which is distinction enjoyed by a selected

adopted at every stage of production.
